About Me

I grew up on an 85-acre farm in Marysville, California, and was raised with a strong sense of fairness and fighting for what's right. I graduated from UC Berkeley and took my first job as a television reporter in Eureka, California. As a journalist, I met interesting people and was privileged to tell their stories. Although a journalist's goal is to be objective, I quickly realized I was born to be an advocate. I decided to apply to law school and have been a trial lawyer for more than 25 years, counseling people who have suffered through physical and emotional tragedy.  With many years of experience, I am well-equipped to quickly handle and resolve complex issues as a parenting coordinator and as a litigator.
